Photo of the Day, January 16, 2009

If you live in the Midwest, you know this feeling today. It is where we all want to be... Buried under covers waiting for the temperatures to rise above zero!

Moments like this make for an excellent opportunity to take a pet portrait. Not all pet portraits have to be staged, kneeling on one knee with your pooch, or contain hideous bows around one's head or neck. Although, those are great too! Those of us with pets know they are just as special, significant, and as loved as human children. A timeless image like this is a great way to capture your furry one's attitude, character, and adorable face in a photo you can enjoy for years and years.

Stay warm and don't eat the yellow snow,
Brigette Sullivan
