Who doesn't love a good cupcake? Or two? Or three? These red velvet and lemon chiffon delights were the "his" and "hers" cakes at a wedding I photographed last autumn. Since June is the most popular month of the year for weddings, this image seems a great photo feature choice.I love when weddings feature thoughtful, creative touches that reflect the bride and groom's unique personlaities. I love it even more when weddings decide to use local, independent vendors for their ceremony and reception. In this case, the baker of these sweet treats was Lovely Bakery in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. Great place, check it out!
