Outer Focus Photos: Photo of the Day June 18, 2009
Stormy weather often makes for the best photos. This moody sky and beach was shot at the Indiana Dunes National Park, near Miller Beach. In taking pictures of storms and threatening natural conditions, always be sure you are safe from the elements. Personally, I'll draw the line at crazy lightning and tornados!
I was soaked to the bone for about eight hours this particular day, thanks to nonstop rain. The fifty degree weather was not so pleasant either. But sometimes, such conditions are worth it when I get a picture like this out of it.
Enjoy,
Brigette
